A CREATIVE MINDFULNESS WORKSHOP
Imagine making intuitive marks on paper, recording the rhythm of your breath.
Imagine slowly and mindfully exploring fluid ink to beautiful music.
Creative expression and mindful connection are innate, inherently intertwined, and available to all of us.
Through mindful prompts and gentle guidance, you’ll experience an inspiring container for self-expression and discovery.
In the slowing down and noticing, you’ll leave a more open, present version of yourself.
— This workshop creates an expansive opening —
Whether you are a mindfulness/art-making veteran, or a complete beginner, it works at all levels.

FAQ
What is included in this workshop?
This three-hour workshop is a beautiful guided experience in my inspiring, light-filled studio. It includes all art materials and refreshments. A follow-up summary + resource list will be shared after the workshop to help you integrate these methods into your daily life.
Where is the workshop located?
The workshop will be taking place in my studio in Toronto’s historic Wychwood Barns. Note: Studio #161 is on the EAST SIDE of the barns, it is one of five outside studios that face South towards the children’s playground.
I am very comfortable with creative expression and/or mindfulness meditation, will there be something NEW in this experience for me?
Absolutely! I’ll be providing a container/space to explore and play creatively in combination with mindfulness practices and concepts, so even if you have experience with one or both, you likely haven’t combined them in this way before. With an open mind/‘beginner’s mindset’, there is ALWAYS something new to discover. While many of these exercises seem simple they are actually profound and full of metaphors for our lives. These are practices that can be repeated endless times, with new layers and discoveries available along the way.
I’m not very experienced with meditation, or I can't draw well. Are you SURE this workshop is for me?
Once again, absolutely! This workshop has been intentionally designed for ALL levels of experience – you will surprise yourself. All you need is an open mind and a little playful curiosity! We’ll be focusing on the sensory experience of slowing down and exploring creative expression. You get to have the rare experience as an adult, to savour the process phase of creation, (like we did as children) and not the final product. This workshop will give you new ways into both creative expression AND mindfulness meditation.
How many participants usually attend?
Due to the size of my studio, there are a maximum of 8 participants per workshop.
What is your refund policy?
Purchased tickets are non-refundable, except in the extremely unlikely event that the workshop itself must be canceled. In that case, you will be refunded automatically and will be the first to know when new workshop dates become available.
