Explore the artist's interpretation of each symbol below,
while considering how they speak to you, personally.

interconnection2.jpg

We exist within a vast array of complex networks — Let this image remind you of the overflowing abundance of 'connectivity'.

Reflect on the webs of interconnection that enrich our lives.

BM2.jpg

Recognize the chaos and messiness of life as inherently beautiful.

Use this muse as a visual reminder to reclaim and celebrate your life force — the beautiful mess that is a full and authentic life.

flow2.jpg

This symbol invites us to honour the cyclical nature of our life energy.
To trust ebb and flow.

Use this symbol to practice generating from within, moving stillness into flow, propelling ideas into actions, and releasing stuck emotions and old perspectives.

wholeness2.jpg

This symbol is a reminder of the beauty of imperfection, the cyclical ebb + flow of life and your inherent WHOLENESS.

It is an invitation to consider yourself and this moment as perfectly imperfect.

centered2.jpg

Like a pendulum swinging too far in one direction and then another, we are frequently pushed + pulled by external circumstances.

Practice coming to momentary stillness throughout the day. Find your center amidst the ever-changing momentum of life.

held2.jpg

The roundness and receptivity of its bowl shape, with a smaller rounded shape within, powerfully symbolizes the sensation of holding — and of being held.

Embody the feeling of being ‘held’ and finding home within.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Enjoying the freeing sense of experimentation that often accompanies working within a range of mixed media, fluid inks and watercolour, artist Nicole Kagan creates her works within an inherently mindful process.

This series, as well as Nicole’s mindful art workshops, result from years of study in mindfulness, meditation, and mindset. She uses this practice as a way to balance a very busy mind and nervous system.

These images grew out of an exploration of creative expression as a form of meditation — and a need for visual reminders throughout her physical living space to slow down and reset before moving on with her day.
